A promising program in view!

The 5^th World Environmental Education Congress is fast approaching! Our team of socioscientific experts has now completed its review of the 1,770 abstract proposals submitted, and our Board of Directors is in the process of putting the final touches to the preliminary Congress program, a copy of which will be sent out to you by February.

Chock-full of presentations, workshops, roundtable discussions and poster sessions on themes central to environmental education, enriched by Symposia, a Political Forum and an NGO Forum and further enhanced by an Exhibition Hall and various Parallel Activities, this ambitious and impressive program promises to be a fitting attestation of our collective determination to live better on Earth, our common home!

The Congress will also welcome an array of internationally renowned speakers and honoured guests, along with key environmental education stakeholders from every continent in the world, who will share with us the results of their research, reflections, projects and experiences. The 5^th World Congress is sure to be a prime opportunity for fruitful encounters and inspiring discussions!

Meeting rooms available for associations

Want to take advantage of the 5^th World Congress “environment” to hold a meeting with your association members? Meeting rooms are available in the Palais des congrès de Montréal on Monday, May 11, and Tuesday, May 12, after 5:00 p.m., and on Tuesday, May 12, between 12:00 noon and 1:00 p.m. To book a meeting room, simply download the form in the Useful Information section of the 5WEEC website and return it, duly completed, to 5weec@jpdl.com.
