H2Our Life: Now is not soon enough

Presenters: Karen Luzny B.ED, M.ED; high school art teacher at Michael A. Riffel High School, Regina, Saskatchewan and grade 11 students Caitlynn Beckett, Kaitlyn Juba, Lacie Ripplinger and Columbian exchange student Pablo Jaramillo.

Using art as a catalyst for discussion, action and change, students will share their personal experiences about water issues through their “visual voice.” Karen Luzny and her students will present on how they have drawn on international conferences, social media and charities to create awareness at their school and in their community. Karen Luzny will present the pedagogical foundations supporting the concept.

The 5th World Environmental Education Congress exhibition will be an informative commercial event that will shine the spotlight on Quebec, Canadian and international know-how in the areas of education, teaching and the environment.

This space will bring together organizations, institutions and businesses engaged in environmental education or offering examples of environmental responsibility.

A multitude of activities will take place at this convergence point, where exhibitors will have the chance to enjoy direct contact with a choice clientele.
