What's new?

June 20, 2009

Almost 2000 people gathered at the Palais des congrès de Montréal this past May 10 to 14 for the 5th World Environmental Education Congress, an event that proved to be a rich opportunity for sharing knowledge and experience, charting new and promising paths for political action and celebrating the wide range of approaches to environmental education.

The leaders of the thematic niches, parallel activities and political forum panels are in the process of compiling and synthesizing the ideas and proposed actions that emerged from their respective events. These reports, which also take a look at the spinoffs generated by the Congress activities, will be posted online under Congress reports this June and July, as they become available.

Thank you to all Congress artisans and participants for helping to make this event a resounding success!
