Eco-Responsibility

A “green” team will be on hand to assist you in your “source-sorting” efforts and to inform you of the various measures put in place by the organization to make this a truly eco-responsioble event.

Thanks to the care and vigilance of the “green” team, you’ll be able to get on with your learning and sharing activities without having to drop your waste into the first trash can you see…

Waste sorting stations will be set up around the Palais des congrès de Montréal throughout the Congress. Be sure to properly sort and dispose of waste materials in the appropriate receptacles:

• Plastic, glass and aluminum containers
• Paper and cardboard
• Final waste
• Compostable materials (receptacles for these types of waste will be located near food stands)

Palais des congrès de Montréal caterers will serve coffee and other drinks in reusable cups; do your part by not bringing in disposable cups from outside.

After being sorted at source by participants, the different waste materials will be weighed and carefully logged for a report that will allow us to measure the efficiency of our efforts.
